Somebody has to stop this uncontrolled and corrupted environment that is affecting the present and future of an important academic institution, such as the UoA. With current budget restrictions, the first moral and realistic step should be to look after those fantastic salaries and to reduce those by at least 70%.

Word is the President also had the U of A buy a house for her to live in on Saskatchewan Drive, nice deal if you can get it. Meanwhile the tuition fees keep rising. She makes more than the Prime Minister and I am not sure what she does, can’t even guess–keeps a low profile mostly.

Outrageous that the chief executives scale has reaced these heights.
Imagine, the President makes more money that the President of Harvard or Cal Tech, or U C Berkeley. On what basis? Surely not world rank (127) enrollement, or academic achievements. No, she is a good negotiator in the midst of a bunch of fools.
